Nothing gets us more excited than bringing everyone closer to all of the information that they need to make the best decisions for themselves. Our v2 FAQ does just that.

It’s all of your burning questions and most of our aquatic answers. Get it? Fire gets put out with... nevermind.

I say most of our answers, because there are some things that we cannot answer just yet.

“But fungibles.. why?”

Partly because the space moves so quickly and there’s so much capital that we need to keep information close to the chest to have a competitive advantage. Besides moral obligations and sticking to our values, the other part is that we either haven’t made a final decision yet with how something will work, or we know how it will work but if we release that information it could lead to other questions that we are not ready to answer.

Please understand that everything is inextricably linked. Teams that understand this create a solid foundation of steady and organic growth as opposed to overhyped, poorly-executed. and painfully mismanaged information.

To that end we have been releasing information in stages and will continue to do so.

Each member of the team is in charge of various aspects of the project. So before every new FAQ, we compile all of your questions and work with each member of the team to get their best answers that we then deliver to you.

General Questions

• What is Probably Nothing v2?

  • The version 2 contract of the token about Probably Nothing that we have coded, and that we own. V1, the current contract, was created by the anonymous team who launched this token in November 2021.

• What benefits will v2 have?

  • One of the most important things is that we will be fully in control of this contract, unlike the v1 contract created by the original team. Besides this there are many reasons to launch a new contract such as:
    • Tax-free transactions
    • New contracts and mechanisms that can now be developed to enhance Probably Nothing and benefit our tokenomics with things such as staking to reward $PN holders
    • Pursue listings on centralized exchanges
    • Deflationary mechanics
    • $PN as a meme currency
    • Features that tie directly into Product Ø (More to come on that!)

• Will the v2 contract be audited?

  • We are speaking with Certik and forming a relationship to be able to formally audit all of our contracts in the future. For now we will be releasing a default ERC20 that is based on Open Zeppelin. You can learn more about Open Zeppelin here: https://openzeppelin.com/
